Gotta agree with Lonman Plextor all the way. I can rip a disk at 24x without 1 error.

STOP....BEfore you buy a plextor and check out a few other options
1. Make sure your CDG disc is CLEAN as can be
2. Rip the CDG at a slower rate (not optimal) start around 16x and work your way around from there (up or down)
3. Update firmware and aspi drivers
If the above dosen't work, then get a plextor

Catusjack is mad cause I gave my Pioneer twin tray to a total stranger I met on this board....Then I gave him, my own cousin, what I thought was a broken CDRW.

I suggest you try a software that allows you to extract the sub code using the MMC Interleave mode, download CDG Ripper and see what it says about your drives. So far, you have been extracting using the standard cdg driver and Plextor is in fact the best option for this mode. I would say your problem is more like the wrong software for your drive models. You might also want to try the Hoster Demo, it now handles this extraction mode, this way you'll have the answer if your drive is really CDG compatible. If you're in the mood to change your dvd drive, Pioneer would be a great option, works very good with cdg.
Good Luck!
