got two scdg for xmas.my player will only play cdg`s.any way to conver the scdg to cdg.

universally, I've heard you can convert TO SCDG but not back... the .dat files aren't a recognizable form. And even for the conversion TO SCDG, you need the cavs encoder.
Good luck in your search...

I'd start with CAVS first.
