Hey guys or girls  :wave: . I've been fooling around with Audacity again and was able to make a mono recording of another song, but when I went to download the LAME encoder to convert it, it won't work. I'm not sure what to do now, except I do have a new wave file that plays in Media Player.

Will any encoder work? I just need to convert it now. Thanks..........Perry

I use dBpowerAMP to convert wav to mp3. and I get it from this site

The above link have tons of other free programs that are FREE and also FREE from spy ware and ad ware.
From homepage goto multimedia and its about 1/2 way down.

Thanks Badsinger. I just realized after I posted this that all I had to do was do a Google search for music converters.........duh.
The reason I couldn't remember the name of the one I used before was because I rebooted my computer several times and lost all of my files.
I just finished downloading dbPoweramp a few moments ago. I'll see if it works again.
