Hi,
I am a newbie here. I play the clarinet. I have been using Vanbasco's Karaoke Player for accompaniment.
Then, I thought that it would be better if I could mix the sound of the clarinet with the accompaniment and most importantly ADD ECHO AND REVERB TO THE CLARINET. I found Blazeaudio's Karaoke Player which is PERFECT for me.
However, I wonder if I can find a FREE software that ADDS ECHO AND REVERB TO MIC INPUT AND SHOWS THE MIDI TRACKS SEPARATELY GIVING ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO MUTE THE TRACK OF THE SOLO INSTRUMENT SO THAT I MYSELF CAN PLAY THE SOLO PART.
Alternatively, I can use Vanbasco's program together with a separate echo software for the mic input. I tried this, but only one of them worked. As far as I could understand the soundcard could not be used by two sound software simultaneously.
If I cannot find a free software, I am planning to do this with a simple VST combination. Which 'host programme' and which VST plugin would you recommend in that case? The simpler the host programme, the better it is for me. Cubase-type of hosts are too expensive, complicated and impractical for my purposes.
Thanks in advance for any help. I am so happy to have found this forum.
