HELP!
My church asked me if I'd be willing to do some karaoke for the kids at church, and I told them it would depend if I could find some kids karaoke music. I own that B Flat the cat crapola, is there anything else out there? I see the PS0111, but is there anything else that I'm missing out on? Hoping to find complete discs of just kids stuff. I'm already doing the show for free, I don't want to go broke buying a bunch of different CDGs too! What do YOU have and is it worth the trouble?
Thanks in advance

How old are the kids you're talking about? Are you talking about Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Mary Had A Little Lamb kids or Teeny Boppers (13 to 16)?

Check into the Disney series discs as well - can pick up at WalMart. You'd be surprised that they may even get used in your regular nights as well.

was JUST gonna say that Lonnie! I just bought most of the Disney series!
And guys, they're REALLY good! My son (who's 20) was singing to the entire Aladdin and The Lion King discs... and I found myself going at it as well!
SC has the "B-Flat the Cat" series, as well as many others.
Other options are the Pop and Top Hits Monthly series... many of the kids nowadays are practically raised on the radio!

Karaoke Bay (found at Walmart) has some kids songs that have been good with little ones. We have had fun with kids and pre-teens at private parties.

We've done some chilrens functions and found the Backstage Children's karaoke disc is great for those non-readers as the background vocal basically sings alon with you. It was sung to over & over again at our last children's function.

All the advice your getting is great. Just keep it up and things will fall into place. I also do a kids / Family show at P.V. Bowl for free and it's my favorite time of the week. Another thing you may find is kids know and like oldies. Also in a church you might try christian music. If you end up going that route try Chartbusters Christian selection. There are many places on this website to find karaoke music most of which i've used and had great results. Keep up the good work, and remember the kids really need positive things to do.

Thanks for the tip on the Disney stuff. I looked at it, and it looks like that will fit the bill nicely. They're on the way to me so I guess I'd better go put my rippin' shoes on!

Big Mike, please let us know how it went. I am looking to add some more kids songs to our list, and would be interested in which of the Disney ones you got. Also, what ages were you working with? That can also make a big diff on song selections.
Thanks!
