Can I use a computer monitor instead of a TV for singers? I have several old, perfectly good computer monitors I would like to use instead of TV's, but how do I convert from the computer plug on the monitor to an RCA jack?

Lonnie, you have a good point, but Leigh Thomas, paying $149.95 for a device where you can get a Sanyo 13" Color TV With Front A/V Inputs, for $69.88 at Wal-Mart???????????

I've picked up a convertor that turns composite video into a VGA signal off eBay for about $20. I've used it at times when I had a monitor handy but no TV.
I also have an adapter that let's me send your typical monitor output (VGA) to a composite device. This I picked up at CompUSA and it cost me about $80.
I keep both of these in my bag just to insure that any video connection I come across I'm able to hook up and go with and it also allows me flexibility in the source that I use for karaoke.

I KJ from pc so there is no need to convert.
I am currently looking into splitting options to run multiple dvi connectins. I have a bar that has a number of hdtv's I don't know how to split to 4 tv's and keep the signal hd.
Karaoke is not the problem but since my videos are vob files I'd like to stay HD.

They make video amplifiers that do what you're asking. They split the video signal multiple times, amplify it to the proper levels and send it off to all the sets you have hooked up. They're used quite often in computer stores where you see the same image on all the monitors.
