Okay, I got a Numark and a BBE booster...ridicule me now...anyway, I am doing karaoke and DJing a small birthday party this weekend...if it sucks, I'll take it back...I have 45 days to exchange it...then I will get a Pioneer mixer

It can only do effects for 1 channel at a time (I think), but I have an effects component...

What Numark?  If it's a dj board, it isn't going to work great for karaoke as the Pioneer either.  Karaoke needs a live board not a dj board.
