Generally anything designed for "karaoke" isn't worth it's weight in parts. This mixer is very limited & hard to expand on if needed. The effects built in are a joke & can't be changed - so you get that cheesy echo effect.
Want a good mixer look at the Mackie CFX12, right about $500, but well worth it & you DO get what you pay for. You could go with Behringer mixers, I personally hate them as they don't sound as clean, aren't the most reliable, but others swear by them & these can almost always be picked up for $300 or less - but even a Behringer would be better that the AKJ. Also look in the Yamaha MG series. You will have to venture OUT of a karaoke store & into a music store to get any of the mentioned boards. But you'll be glad you did!!!
