The bar I sing at every night has a great regular crew that has made the gig so popular, nearly every night is a two-song night at best. Halloween last year was one song only and probably will be again this year.
Anyway, we have songs that our regulars do that have become standards. It's almost never a night out if we don't hear this:
"Yakety Yak" - Group sing by the guys in the bar. Sung in the style of Arnold Schwartzenegger, the guys call themselves "The Governors Of California". They've also given this treatment to "Dirty Deeds".
"Bodies" - The Drowning Pool song sung by two girls. It's hilarious every single time.
"Delilia" - Everyone loves yelling "You bi**h!" to this.
"Couldn't Have Said It Better" - My fiancee sings this song with the KJ, Pete, who we've nicknamed "Pete Loaf".
"Surrender" - Our resident punk rock grandpa sometimes ends each night with this, and everyone sings along.
Those are just some of the standards. Anyone out there have anything like this?

#2) Family Tradition
#3) Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound
#4) Man of Constant Sorrow
#5) Let's Stay Together
#6) Anything by Tom Petty
#7) Anything by the Grateful Dead

"Harper Valley PTA"
"Wish You Were Here"
"Born To Be Wild"
"Family Tradition"
"A Country Boy Can Survive"
"Me And Bobby McGee"
"Can't You See"
"Rocky Raccon"
"Because I Got High"

Even though my karaoke nights are in small bars in an non tourist city the crowd is different every night. There are not too many regular songs.
With a large song book people always sing different songs.

One guy I always sees in different bars always does Barry White's Cant get enough of your love.
One girl is repetitively doing Ice Ice Baby every week at the same bar.
And I can't go a full week without some duo singing Summer Nights.

I don't mind Summer Nights when the singers are really good. It shouldn't be a song that just anyone tries. But unfortunately that is what usually happens. So I would just as soon not have it on any KJ's play list :) If good singers want to do it, then they will bring their own CDG.

Some of the regular/standards that can be heard at some point in the week faithfully:
Humpty Dance - Digital Underground

Wake Up Older - Julie Roberts
Faithfully - Journey
Stuck In The Middle With You - Steelers Wheel
Amazed - Lonestar
Nuthin But A G Thing - Snoop Dogg
Rooster - Alice In Chains
Gold Dust Woman - Fleetwood Mac
Middle Of The Road - Pretenders
I don't hear them nightly, but definately throughout the week.
