Hi my name in Nikki, I grew up in Nashville, TN and since then developed a huge interest in music. I am trying to make a cd for my friends and family and studying for clinical/counseling Adolescent Psychology. I love to run, sing(of course), draw, watch movies and read. Someday, when I get settled with a degree I want to audition for everything and try my luck at a career in the music industry. Until then, I am so glad to be a member of this great site and hope to learn how to better my technique and skills. Well, I think that's enough...I've got a techy question I'm anxious to recieve a response to. Bye for now...

Hi Nikki, Welcome to KS and hope you find it useful to your need. I see you have a question about recording in the other forum.

Hi Nikki,

We have a few interests in common even.  Besides singing, of course.

I do like to draw, although you won't see my work hanging in any galleries, mind you, and I've been termed a "voracious" reader.  I've yet to figure out if that is good or bad, really.  But, it is true.  I go through a lot of books!

Oh my! I read from Auel to Dickens, from Dickens to King, from King to Poe - shoot if I'm desperate enough I read cereal boxes! LOL

I like the classics, I like the horror genre (Koonz and King mostly) and I like Fantasy.  I find it rather nice that the world has figured out who Frodo and Gandalf and Gollum are!

Well I try to stay away from romance novels.  I start eyeballing my husband, and comparing him to these imaginary studs.  LOL  Nah.

That and I have this picture in my head of romance novels and bon bons.  I know it isn't real, but I see it anyway.. so, No romance novels, lest I then succumb to the bon bons!

When I'm reading a book series, I always wait for the paperback.  I read my books to death.  So I am in suspense a little longer than those of my friends run out and pay top dollar to get the newest thing, but as long as they don't ruin it for me, that's.. okay...

I'm smart enough, I'm strong enough... and gosh darn it, people don't throw food at me! LOL

Yes...I understand...believe me. You always want the guy in your life to be perfect...But really what is Perfect? I want to know if any guy really feels he's perfect? Come on...If you've got to crawl out from under your rock, rusty old pick up, or whatever it is....I'm really just joking...I hope those men reading this don't take this seriously...bon bon's really? It's not the only thing I read, I like blood and guts too...anyone feel the same? Boy, I feel pretty alone in this forum....lol :hi5:

I just love a good story.  If the characters are believable, I can suspend my disbelief for the plot. LOL

Actually when I read, it's usually potato chips.  Yep.
