The direct sound output plugin under the other tab has the option to elininate silence before and after.

options->plugins->ouput->direct sound->configure->other

It works fairly good and when starting karaoke songs eliminates the delay that shows the logo etc. But it seems to sometimes start the music twice or hesitates sometimes.
 Has anybody used it or found a better plugin to do this? Its nice esp in the last hour when you are trying to get as many singers up as possible.
