We had a liquor store in a small town (Wellington) in northern Colorado. The drive up window was between our building and the store next door. Sometimes in the heat of a summer afternoon an old fat crow would waddle thru, turn into a pedestrian on the sidewalk and pause on the edge of the curb. Main street was a two lane state highway with a speed limit of 30 per. He would look both ways and if it was clear jump off the curb and and stroll to the double yellow lines, glance quickly to the right and meander on to the other curb. Hop up on the other curb and continue on his way.

So I guess thats about where I'm at in my lifetime. I dont need to flap my wings, push out my chest, crow lke a rooster and make a big production out of crossing a street that has been crossed a million times. I dont need a definition of jaywalking, the legalities of  crossing in the middle of the block, or some idiot telling me I shouldnt be crossing over.  I dont need a crossing guard, a time srtucture, or having to show an Id to anybody. Yet there are lawmakers that want to protect the streets and for some strange reason you never see them on the streets or even patronizing the stores on that street.

All I want is for me and that ole crow to have the right to look both ways and waddle across the street with dignity and not endure all this modern bulls*** (If you want a serious synopsis I can give you an analogy between the the streets in Beruit Lebanon  and small town america, I was there, I dont like whats becoming of our country) Its becoming more and more like Beruit...

Does this apply to amateurs singing in a bar? Let my children sing...
