Woow, that's cool that you are getting broadband!
Dialup isn't so bad for the most part, but once you've done broadband it's hard to go back to dialup. I had dialup on my laptop for a while, which I used when we traveled, and it was way worse to use it after I had gotten DSL at home. One of those things where you wonder how you lived without it!
