I have some ACER and ASUS laptops running Karma just fine. In fact, I have never had a machine that Karma would not run properly on. Even with all the crapware included.
Just for the record, Karma does not include "crapware" or any add-on apps or advertising from third parties. We're one of the few companies with a strict policy against that stuff. I know Chris well enough that I'm pretty sure he meant the crap that comes installed with new computers from the factory, but I can also see how others might interpret that sentence the wrong way.
Best advice for anyone who just bought a new PC is to first use the "Reset this PC" option in Windows 10. It seems counter-intuitive, but it will clean off any factory installed third party apps (which aren't needed) and make your computer actually faster than it was from the factory.
