Hey Nashville - nice decorations --- it must get awfully hard to get in/out of your house with the tree in front of the door wanna come decorate my house? I just can't seem to get into the spirit this year at all. BUT - I do have a funny photo from my hubby's decorating adventure earlier this week. When I get home I'll put it up (yep - still at work - taking a break). Later
Cant get in the spirit? How come?? Well, i can guarentee that if you put up your decorations you will automatically get into the spirit. Get yourself a bottle of wine, put on some xmas music...relax and decorate!!!
I expect to see pics by tomorrow !

OMG -- did we have to laugh at Roxy (my Border Collie) on Sunday -- my hubby had started decorating and put up the tree. He decided in the middle of it that he was tired and needed a nap so, being like he is, left everything right where it was at so he could come back to it later (yeah - right - it's now bunched up in corner still waiting for him ) anywho....
I hear some snoring and knew Rox was somewhere close but didn't look around until hubby gets up to get something and just about rolls over laughing.
Doesn't it look like she was decorating and got too exhausted to continue???
That's my baby
I have a photo from a few years ago of her lieing under the tree on the "rug" (she has a fascination with lieing on rugs but dog pillows are for lieing her head on not her body )
BTW - As you can see -- my house is not nearly as straightened up and clean like everyone elses so excuse the mess plz

Hey FoxyRoxy,
We have 3 'babies", one of whom - Jacob - lies in bed with his head on the pillow in his daddy's spot until daddy gets done brushing his teeth!
Montana, on the other had, has her bed (pillow) which she drapes herself over with usually her head and parts of her limbs hanging off (she's a German Shephard mix but her bed is large enough for her).
Sophie has her own schedule at bedtime. At first she goes under the bed, then once we're settled she comes up in between us.
Gotta love 'em!!! They have distinctly different personalities and provide such comfort and enjoyment for us!!!
Susie
P.S. Sorry, didn't mean to hijack thread, just haven't put Christmas up yet and enjoy seeing the antics of other's pets.

Missy - Ya should have gotten a pic of the kitty in the tree! I'd have liked to have seen that new ornament you had
I've been waiting all week already to catch Miss Roxy napping under the tree yet but she's been holding off and instead crashing in a different room. I'm so sad that she's aged so tremendously these past few months and I think I will be extremely lucky if she's still with us next year at this time because she's sliding downhill mighty fast (she's more than 12 yrs old we believe - got her when she was supposedly 5 from the Humane Society).
Anyway - Happy holidays to everyone -- even if you don't celebrate Christmas but think of every day as a holiday!

Very pretty trees! I don't have a digital camera so....by the time I took a pic, developed it, scanned it in...it will be February We always have a fake tree anyway, my husband is allergic.
I can do you one better on the dog story....last year our dog kept lifting his leg on the tree. This year he didn't even wait until I finished putting it together, the minute my back was turned, he came over and peed on the rug right in front of it!!
I always put it up in our dining room because it's the only vertical window we have. It's also where the dog likes to lie in the sun, so I guess he gets mad that I stole his special place. Plus, it's a tree, so what do dogs do on trees? Guess he's too stupid to realize it is a FAKE tree!!
So this year I put up a barrier he can't cross to get into the room...poor thing! ! He keeps going over to the doorway and looking it, like, why can't I go in there? whimper whimper...

Cool pic!
Wow, that's interesting, so you put a fairy at the top of your tree? We put an angel or star (here in the U.S.).

Really? We usually dress Skylah up, and tie her on the top of the tree....
Keeps her out of the way, too...
