I have a Singing Machine SMW-45 it uses cassettes..oldie but never been used..instructions lost but the seriel #N45087184.
My husband plugged in the mike put in a blank tape ..pressed record/play buttons..after singing tried to play it back ..abslutley nothing on the tape??HELP!!

I hate to ask, but did he have the volume up on the microphone, on the main levels...?
