Currently have about 150 CDG's in my collection. Using a portable Vocopro Bravo II 160W with 2 wired Shure mics. Super old Bose Cube speakers with subwoofer are wired into the Vocopro Bravo II. Split graphics on a monitor with stand and a stand alone tv for others to see the words. The vocopro is old and the backlight doesn't work any more. Still plays good.
We had a christmas party at our house Friday night and set the system up in the basement. Everything works good just tired of swapping CD's in and out all night. Didn't realize the importance of the backlight till you had to use your phone to see what number song you were on. I downloaded Kjams software, bought an external CD player for my macbook pro, and boom the CD burned great and I could see the words on my computer. Really want to upgrade and get everything onto the computer. Any suggestions on if I can incorporate my Vocopro Bravo II into a new system or do I need to purchase a new mixer and just start from scratch? Thanks in advance for any help.
For the video you would have to get a hdmi to composite adapter. You don't have to use the VP for the video, just the sound if you chose. I would start form scratch and get a small pro PA system. You will be more "fun a head" with a nice sounding say Yamaha, Peevey or any good system.
