Tricerasoft release some awesome Mobile DJ/KJ apps allowing the Mobile DJ/KJ to run mobile shows with ease and good quality. I myself enjoy their Karaoke 2.0 on my iPad.

The karaoke anywhere app with KaraokeCloud Pro is awesome!

But...

Where is KaraoQ integration? come on Tricerasoft, jump on it and get it together already. (Hint, Hint)

karaoQ is nowhere near ready for prime time yet. it effectively doubles your work (manage 2 rotations, the one in software and another for KaraoQ), you MUST allow bumps (and manage those by hand, according to my conversation with them there is no feature to alert you of a bump. you must memorize your rotation and check it every few minutes to compare and see if anyone bumped), there is no other option than the smart phone app, unlike SongbookDB for instance where you can have a few kiosks set up (like i do) for those without smart phones, there is no option to add a song without the app. without the app your singers can not even browse the book. if someone gives you a song WITHOUT the app, and you add it into the rotation of your hosting software, you must then manually add it to the karaoQ app and manage it separately from your hosting software.

KaraoQ already uses karaokecloud Pro to integrate two different karaoke stores into one piece of software would require some EXTREMELY complex programming that would probably not be cost effective.

Then there are the compatability issues Digitrax charges $1.99/track. Tricerasoft is anywhere between 1.49 - 2.99/track depending on how many credits you buy, so how do you keep track of both? two separate accounts? impractical. Nope it just ain't gonna happen in my opinion

never understood "integrating" a store into the programs anyway. all it does is open an internal web browser and you have to go through the exact same steps that i do with a regular browser.
1) search for the song (my way is faster, i use iCroons to search all sellers instead of just the one in the software)
2) buy the song (go through paypal or credit system like Tricerasoft)
3) download the song (same up to this point)
4) rename the song to my naming convention (same again, even Tricerasoft has different naming conventions based on the manu)
5) import song to hosting softwares song database

to the best of my knowledge karaoki does this entire process automatically. The system Toqer graciously allows me to use also used to do this.

you would select the song in the kiosk and first it would check to see if you had enough credits in your account to buy the song, then it would download the song, enter it into the data base and automatically que it into the roation for that singer's next turn

unforutnately since the major catalog change that tricerasoft was forced to make when the 'no fly' list started getting enforced in the uk, the download store does not work anymore. Keep getting 'invalid link' error. Shame, because that was actually my absolute favourite part of the kiosk software. *sigh*

Apparently in the works as Ryan from PCDJ mentioned is the KaraoQ integration self controls the bumps within the karaoki player integration. More to follow on this, I will do a followup call to PCDJ on Monday afternoon.

Hello, yes I'm home, sorry day of rest and all...

KaraoQ is fully integrated in PCDJ Karaoki. You can go to http://karaoq360.com/ it has a full run down of the integration with:
1) PCDJ - Karaoki
2) Karaoke Cloud Pro - Subscription available in MP3+G soon available in HD
3) Karaoke Cloud Store- single downloads in MP3+G soon available in HD
4) KaraoQ- for a seamless integration, it actually cuts out admin time. No input necessary.
5) Venue Q - integrated in the KaraoQ APP, its the Venue leader board, it shows the Q so everyone can see rotation.

The simple fact is it practically runs itself so you can focus on your guests. Go to the site check out the offer. We have quite a back log from the Summit so please be patient.
