i just wanna say bye to you all....it was fun for me when i first came here...but now it seems like the desire for me to carry on has gone, would like to thank the FEW who listened to my subs and left nice comments. im quitting before it gets anymore embarrasing for me....i get less comments and less views each time i sub a song....so i might aswell just sing to myself here at home.....i love to sing....but the passion of subbing my songs on a website has now gone....i dont feel like there is any point for me to carry on doing that.....dam...i dont even know what to writee...so ill just leave it at that.....only this time...ill not be talked into coming back..its over.......take care all

Hey Lee! I'm sorry to see you go... I was one that always tried to stop in and listen to your songs... I'm sorry I haven't been able to do that as much lately... I'm sure I'm not the only one that just gets incredibly busy over the holidays with family and stuff. I hope you have a great holiday and perhaps stop in and visit from time to time.

Sorry to see ya go....but I understand completely!! I have been very disappointed in the responce to my subs many times, and have considered doing the same thing you're doing. Then, I have had to take a few steps back and ask myself if it's just my poor ego getting bruised. Most of the time, it is my ego sticking out, but, on the other hand, it's disheartening to see other subs get high praise and 3 to 4 times the comments on , shall we say, less than stellar efforts. We all aren't blessed with the luxury of time spent on this site that obviously many others have. I think that if you don't have the time to listen and comment frequently, you probably aren't going to get the responce for your subs...compared to the subs from people that do. Right or wrong, that's just the way it is. It really has no reflection on the quality of your singing, or mix, etc.....so hopefully, it's something that you won't take personally.....although that's VERY hard to do!!
I am one of the site members that has limited time to visit, and I, for one, will miss your consistently high-quality Beatles subs.
Perhaps you can take a hiatus over the holidays, and begin the new year once again sharing your songs. I hope so. Best of luck to you and yours...

BT, may I suggest a break more than a full departure?

I know what you mean, lot's of newbies lately and they probably don't know how good you are so they miss your sub's!
I've been really busy lately & I almost feel bad subbing some songs with out listening to others!
We're all busy at this time a year & keep in mind that you're a well respected member with a great talent, so if you do leave, please, just take a break & we'll be around when you feel like sharing your stuff

I too get less & less comments but I'm to blame, I need to listen to others so they get to know me, but it's the time that is the issue!

I think we are all getting less listens right now than usual because of the holidays and well 4 people who always commented have recently left...so thats at least 4 less...then theres Missy GG who has been moving and not around...( Just now came back)...so thats 5..., Gilly is stuck with dialup and can't listen, I ain't seen hide ner hair of Snoopy (I think he's busy too...).so that's 7....Denndog is missing too thats 8, Tim is on vacation that's 9......and we just had a big Holiday here in the USA so we girls all been busy cooking... I think this is all circumstancial, friend...

So, please reconsider....I love your Beatles tunes!!....You are one of the few who does them, and are a very important piece of this SS puzzle!

We all get frustrated....My house is a wreck from too much time here, but it's like a family here and you are an important part of this family....

We got newbies (tons of em), we got oldies, show tunes and sweet croons (lol)

AND theres one thing you can count on, for sure----we got friends....and if you stay------we got FAB BEATLE TUNES!!!!!!!! and it's obvious from the notes to you here, none of us want to not be able to count on that....We all have bad days and bad weeks, even bad months and bad years, but you have alot of friends here...So Please reconsider...ok? ok! i am hoping this is a joke mr mccartney...i havent been around the last few weeks cause of moving house and you know i always enjoy your songs....i am back well of sorts but on dial up till BT get their act together and give me my broadband connection back....so its even more frustrating....i never realised just how much people on 56k suffered on this site....i tried to sub a 3mb song and after 25 mins and it still not going through i gave up....i tried to listen to a couple of songs and each 1 took 10 mins and then it was breaking....so come on mr mccartney....just take a little break work on some recordings then when you feel nice and refreshed get subbing again

After finally reading through this, it makes me smile to see all of the support you all give to each other:) Makes the words online "community" mean so much more... usually it seems like a bunch of people bickering, and then I see support like this, and it makes my opinion change, again:)
