Does anyone know of a brand that put out the full three verse version of Total Eclipse?? I have only seen the shortened form.

I have that one. I will have to give it a listen. My goto is usually the Zoom version, but it was brough to my attention that there was a third verse.

Out of the 9 different manufacturers that I own, only Sun Fly has a short version, which is the only one I have listed, because the rest are around 6 minutes long (over my 5 minute rule). The rest range from 5min 45sec to 6min long.

I don't have a 5 minute rule. Every version I have heard only has the first and second verse.

This is the Bonnie Tyler version right? A few of the girls in this area who regularly sing the song prefer the Nikki French version.

Yeah, none here seem to like the Nikki French version.

Having said that the French version is Verse-Chorus-Instrumental-Verse tail-Chorus-Ending. So really 1 1/2 verses, far short of the three verse version as requested by the OP.
In fact, I was unaware that there were more than two verses, all I seem to remember about the 6 minute version was longer instrumentals, introduction and ending.

This thread reminds me of the TV show Big Brother a number of years back, where the inmates (sorry, housemates) were made to participate in a "Karaoke Endurance" challenge, which meant being locked in a room singing "Total eclipse of the heart" repeatedly for hours on end. Bet the songwriters got a nice royalty cheque out of that!

I have it on DK2046... full version (and I think it's a pretty good version).

U-Best has the full version - ok music, terrible words, not swiping, just they seem to use what they 'thought' they heard lol.

I prefer the All Hits 8000 version.

Chartbuster Version is OK... Would be better if the background vocals/harmonies were not so pronounced/loud... musically it compares well to the aforementioned disks by All Hits & DK... time wise it is about 20 secs shorter than All Hits & 30 secs shorter than DK ...
