thanks guys... it just hurt finding out the way I did. My brother went back for uncle Dale (My grandfather's brother)'s funeral... nobody bothered to tell me. They know I'm busy, but not THAT busy I can shirk my family!

Dad's notoriously stubborn... he lived up in Oregon when he was thirty, hated it up here, and refuses to come back. I honestly don't know what his complaints are. It's FAR more temperate than Missouri can be! !

And steve... fergetaboutit! As you said, it's so "trivial" it's never worth getting worked up about. At best during the whole thing, I was just perplexed. So if you got to feelin' bad about me, my apologies once again.

Most of this site baffles me like that, though, so maybe the problem has always been me. It's time for me to convert or die! !

oh Matt.... I'm so sorry to hear your news.

I think the hardest part about losing someone you love is all the memories that seem to flood back to you.I hope you find comfort and strength in those memories..... and know that, with faith, you can get through anything. Be strong for you parents, as I'm sure you'll have people keeping you strong.
