world, I am Mr, Resonance, pleased to meet you all. I hoping to learn a little about the ways of Karaoke from you crafty and chiseled veterans. I am a bit of an audiophile so I am finding this actually quite fun. My most pertinent question is regarding creating Karaoke lyrics for mp3's and somehow integrating it all within a standalone Karaoke program so to speak. Myself, I am fairly particular about the instrumentals I want to use, as you may all be aware, actual instrumentals from the artists make the Karaoke experience that much more grand!. Anyone care to throw some ideas my way? I am currently using Minilyrics by Crintsoft. Although this works good, the lyrics won't display in any Karaoke programs which is my goal. I think this is where creating a certain type of file comes into play? Tell me of this......thank you.
I know what you mean, MiniLyrics uses the LRC file format for the lyrics which up till now, no karaoke software are capable to read, I think? In my case, I prefer using Minilyrics over any conventional karaoke player simply because most of the best instrumental tracks out there are not in the CDG format and I can also choose my prefer music player, which in my case is Xmplay, built on the Bass engine
