Hi, I came across this setup that would be perfect for a Karaoke Kiosk. It consists of the Touch Screen monitor (in any color) and your choice of Stand. It's from China and it's $371.00 delivered. It looks like it would do the job and create a nice professional look. I would like some feedback on this. Here's the link: Click Here To Check It Out

Put your karaoke list online and set it up for smartphone requests.
this would be a lot cheaper in a lot lighter than a kiosk.

Could probably Make it cheaper by shopping around for the same pieces from overseas or even stateside distributors. The shipping cost is way steep.

Further down in the ad copy, it said that if you are only ordering 1, they would adjust the price and shipping for you. Reasonable shipping charges might make this interesting as it comes with it's own stand. I could sling a netbook on the back of it and use it for a wireless, remote kiosk instead of using a venue's table.

I already have an ELO touch screen mounted on a monitor stand and my customers already can use their smart phone or tablet to access and send in their submission. I like this because of the look. And in my opinion, the visual is a very important thing. Very polished, very professional. It's (again) one of the things that sets you apart from everyone else. I usually spare no expense to achieve that. And, I think that the price is reasonable.

It looks great. I would be a little concerned about more details though. Does the touch screen act as a computer or does it just connect to a computer as an extended screen? If it is a computer, what operating system does it run and will it support your software? For example, I use Compuhost and the kiosk software is windows based, so an android tablet wont work. Personally, I bought a used touch screen HP and built a stand for it and spent about that much total. It looks great. I noticed something new on ebay too. Tablet tripod stands for about $35. With a cheap Windows based tablet this is another option for a kiosk, but wont look as nice. Let us know if you try it, because this is a nice looking option.

I think this is the manufacture website which has more information about it http://globalav.globalimporter.net/pod2 ... -touch.htmThis one is 21.5 inch though, the one you showed was 19 inch, maybe an upgraded version? You can buy just one or whatever from the link I provided above.

Be very careful with Aliexpress.com. I did a quick google search and found many complaints about shopping there.

I also want to know that, does the touch screen act as a computer or does it just connect to a computer as an extended screen?
