I'm noticing a lot of people going CAVS.

A few questions:

Are you loading Sound choice discs into that machine? Or are you just using the legal Megastar crap etc.?

Is it now free game to Cav anything?

Let me know, Because I've got over 10.000 songs mostly on sound choice.

Many companies are still stating that it's illegal to "convert" their discs to any other format - including the CAVS unit. I see & know of more & more people going to this machine or the computer hard drive - essentially the same thing as far as storage. DJ's have been doing this for years & now karaoke is quickly making it's way toward this direction - technically still illegal since you're still making a copy for commercial use.
Only problem is, is how does a company prove that if everything in the player was purchased? They could bring in the discs which would help prove that. Anyone can forge a reciept with todays computer programs - so this wouldn't be any good. Could have a book of the UPC bar codes from the discs - provided the original discs were legal in the first place & actually came with a jacket with the bar code on it.
