OK What Now: Tell ya what, I'll listen to your "disco" sub, then maybe , just maybe now, yahear- I'll' try it. I've heard you jump genre's a little and you're good at it. But this is a huge genre change. LISTEN to one of my subs- THINK about that same voice singing Donna Summer or Gloria Gaynor. *~LOL~* It just don't fit together, Mister.

But, I'll see. Maybe I can think of something funny to do, cause lordy if I sing disco it sure aint gonna sound serious ya'll.

But I will try, I don't wanna be called a poor sport. Heck, I've sang Elvis on a dare before. (well, in kamikaze karaoke anyhow) Atleast I'm familiar with his stuff though. I wouldn't be caught dead owning any disco cd's, tapes, or records. My redneck friends would string me up.

I really do think this is a good idea though, and will be fun for all who participate AND listen.

Ok, I jumped the gun a little, I was like the 4th person to sub disco. Where are all those subs, people? Well, I guess some of ya'll may have an actual job to go to during the day, so I'll be patient.

Hi,....Ive got question......
I dont know if this has been asked or not,,,but...
On this Disco Theme,is it...that the song can
ONLY be submitted ONCE,one the site? OR...
can we post the song,even if someone has alresdy
done so??
I ask this,because I was going to submit
in the disco genre,and the song I was going to post,
has already been posted.(mine is an entirely different
version tho).
Would someone please let me know on this,

Tammy, IMHU, post what YOU want to post! There's no rule against a song duplicated. Yesterday we had Knightshow and Budacris doing Tainted Love, different people with the same taste. Go for it GrL!

Tammy, if you're going to post "I Will Survive", PLEASE do so. Since you said "entirely different version" I figured it might be that one. , my version was a spoof because I don't sing disco. Would LOVE to hear someone sing it properly. So........... if that's the one you were gonna do, please go for it. I for one would love to hear ya.

This is alot of fun, now I'm off to hear more disco subs.

yep,your right blue....that was it..Ill wait a few days ok?.I loved your version,it was so dang cute,I giggled thru it.Its alot of fun playing around with CEP. I love the disco theme,and Im looking forward to the next theme,when its decided upon.I'm so enjoying everyones disco tunes!

This past week we had a special GENRE -> DISCO!

You folks are terrific! We had over 30 submissions by 20 members.

I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did.

Special thanks to AllStar for making the suggestion. And a great big thank you to all who contributed. Of course, a wonderful thank you to everyone that listened, commented & ranked.

This was an interesting experiment. Should we continue this? (I had suggested the idea in another forum topic.)

Maybe we should make it for the month. That way everyone has an opportunity to submit and listen. Also, if we continue this should I create a special section for this?

Feedback - as always - I seek your input & suggestions.

oh yes please! Lets continue...I was under the impressions that Comedy...was next..me and the girls have even got something prepared for tomorrow... Yes please...lets continue. A special genre..called something like... "Special Showcase Theme" would be great!.

I have so enjoyed taking part in "disco" an so look forward in taking part in more.

AllStar is game and has submitted! I really do enjoy seeing how great the people on the forum did with the Disco era!

I love this whole idea. It adds a brand new dimension to this site and I've had a great time looking for songs. I hope we can make this a regular feature. It seems like everyone had fun with it.
