I use the Audix OM-5's it's a Warmer and Classic Mid range sounding Hypercardioid dynamic microphone with a lot of off-axis rejection.. which means.. the singer will get pulled through in the vocal frequencies as those have been boosted.. in the gain structure of this microphone.. but it forces the singer to sing "Into" the microphone.. and reduces the "Side" noise from around the shaft up to 90 degrees of the capsule's center or the top of the microphone..
That's the quazi technical explaination, about my wired mics they run if ya know where to get them.. from $200.00 on up to $350.00 USD.
The AT-4260 just like Ron's AT-3000 except mine is an AT-4000 reciever with a AT-6100 Capsule (dynamic) and AT-4000 Transmitter and has all the newest 2004 mods that upscale it including compression & limiting..
I don't have the AT-5000 that has been earlier discussed with the Eatherlink connection for Frequency Seperation and Choices.. but the price is out of my league for a karaoke system on that one. maybe for live.... In about 2 years.
