Hi everyone,
I’m new to the Karaoke Scene, so thought this forum would be a good place to start. You all seem to know your stuff.
I have got Dart Karaoke Studio CDG which I’m slowly getting to grips with. Dart recommend to use a Plextor writer S2410TU. At present I have a Pioneer DVD Rom and a Philip’s CD RW which I’m happy with.
Can anyone give me any advice regarding the Plexwriter, is it really a case of just plugging into the USB am I likely to encounter any problems with the three drives. I’m not confident enough to fit a drive myself so am looking for a quick solution. For the moment this is for home use only.

Most of my tracks are mp3 converting is no problem but is there any real advantage to doing this also what cd’s should I use, I have a RSQ 505 MK11 Karaoke DVD which supports the majority of all CD’s.
I’ve got a lot to learn so any information would be a great help.

The best advice I can give you is to stick with the 505's...
