Yeah, Thats one of those remote control room humidifiers. Works best with a little Vapor Rub added to the water

No No I think that is the latest version of HAL 2004 - if you don't like his sym voice you can convert it to another, I believe it comes with 15 standard voices and you can upgrade to add more...

Was considering building myself one like this. I actually work on some translation for them (unifykaraoke.com). They will give me a free copy of their software.
their price is crap but the idea is great for those computer geeks guy who have lots of karaoke, cdg,vcd, dvd on hard drive...
the main stopping point is you have to connect your mic to the sound card input of that pc..

I saw one of those one time. I think its an uninteruptable power supply for a "humptyfratz", with a built in back up system.
