i don't understand the logic of NOT putting your phone number on your website.

As a legitimate business (if you are) then a cell/business phone is a necessity, as well as a business write-off. If you had anyone stalking or harassing you, it's easy to block their number.

I think people want to talk to a real person and not have to wait for an email response. My landline office phone gets forwarded to my cell when i'm out of the office.

i can understand not putting an address of your business if it happens to be your home, but a PO box is an option and once again a tax write-off. only $74 a year to rent one.

on our site, we put what states and surrounding areas we serve, but generally mention the county we are primarily in. For interested wedding parties, we verbally give our office location but give them the option of us meeting them wherever they like.

With my present software and the instant answer service potential customers have my phone number in seconds. When I posted my number before on the web my phone was falling off the wall with spam and sellers.. Google karaoke Greeley  I do not want my phone number again on the first page of google. This comes with experience.

REALLY? Wow, that must've been a real pain in the arse! I'm glad that hasn't happened to us in 7 years...must not be a alot of telemarketers in my area.

That's great to know there are other alternatives like what you mentioned Ollie!  :)
