:D Hey all I have done a liitle research and I am thinking about using compuhost for playing karaoke on my laptop I use this often but not sure if this program will do everything that I need I am looking to copy my cdgs to a hard drive and make a song book or list and also be able to change the key for songs just wondering if anyone who has this program can tell me if this will do all that or suggest something else before I purchase this THANKS
Compuhost does all of that except the book. It does output a listing file in a format that can be used by (their) book-making software.
I highly recommend using Compuhost if you are going to be a working KJ that wants to run a fair rotation. It has excellent rotation management, and the singer history means you rarely have to look up songs for regulars after a few weeks of using it.
If you are playing things for practice, and are at all budget-conscious, save your money. Use Winamp with the MP3+G and Pacemaker plugins, or perhaps MTU Hoster LIte. I don't think Compuhost is very good for practicing, and I use the programs I mentioned for that.
