Wonder if anyone can help. Just purchased the above, slight problem. If I get a singer with a really strong voice I tend to get slight distortion. I have tried setting on L & M (users will know what I mean) input gain. I am recording in stereo mode with a direct inject from my Makie mixer (tape out) I have set levels lower on the H4 and last night used the built in compressor/limiter but find I was also getting drops in sound. If anyone uses to record live singers can they please advise from which output on the mixer they use and what settings they use on the H4. Thanking you all in anticipation.
