I ended up buying a ART Tube MP Project Series USB Audio Interface and a Beringer XM8500 mic. Will this be okay for recording subs for like the SS? Oh, almost forgot, i'll be using Audacity as my recording software.

Should be fine, I would've went with a better mic, but it should sound fine.

No it's not even that, it's a live vocal mic, not a recording mic but should work for simple recordings.
