Hi,
I'm am new to the karaoke community and was looking for info on some good sites of players and suggestions on players under $1000.00.
I'm pretty much looking for just a player that are like the ones at karaoke places where it's digital.
As much advice would be greatly appreciated.

there really isn't a standard.
"digital" could be anything... from a computer to a complex cd+g/dvd type player. A hard drive player (CAVS)...
What are you wanting to DO... what are your plans? Are you wanting to buy the superCDG discs that have 700 songs each, or the cdgs with 15-16 songs. DVDs with videos...
