I'm looking to purchase a microphone. I need some suggestion on which one. I'm looking for one at a reasonable price.

DJ.. the best tip I can Offer is get a killer set of Professional Grade headphones... Like a set of AKG's Or Sony's I mean like 90- 100 dollar types.. and find a real top of the line console live type ( yamaha, soundcraft, Mackie..analog console) the larger ones NOT BEHRINGER!!! or the others
but a real nice analog console that is clean sounding with out hiss or buzzes in it. set the EQ flat qnd start going through ALL the mics in stock one at a time til you find one you like.. that has a high gain, lots of color is clean and clear.. remember.. do not change the EQ! you want your voice to sound natural not boomy or tinney.. I'll bet you it's either a shure, Audio technica, audix, Sennheiser, or EV mic. they all will cost anywhere from 125.00 for the us made shures to 400.00 for the sennheisers. that's for the wired mics. e-mail me if you want input on the wireless ones.
