Karaoke Forums

Can anyone recommend speakers to use with my PC to run karaoke through. I have a separate mixer/amp/speaker combo for use at my legendary home karaoke parties, but I would like to practise without having to set up the whole system.

Altec Lansing makes a great system complete with subwoofer, that's what i use. Best Buy is the place to get one.

I wanted to ask this yesterday but would using pc speakers for karaoke damage those speakers?

 It may eventually, but it is a lot cheaper than damaging a more expensive PA that is designed for the live vocals.  So you have to ask yourself, do I want to keep replacing computer speakers or do I want to get something that is going to last for karaoke & live vocals?
