Have any of used or heard of Phonic PA Systems. I was looking at thier 740 plus package 440 watts bridged 220 stereo.

This will be used for mostly home use, and some small partys.

Looking for good sound quality.

From what i've heard it's not a bad system at all for home use & small scale parties!

I owned one for a few minutes, literally! I got to look at it, but never plugged it in to hear it. It wasn't Phonics fault though. It was the shipper. Also, it is ships in it's original cartons, with no extra protection. Had I known this, I would have been willing to pay extra for better packaging.

For the money, it looked great. All the reviews are good. Had it not been for UPS, I'd have one today. Just an FYI...be sure it is IN STOCK before ordering!

You can read my thread about my experience if you like:

Good luck, Jim.

I put Phonic products right on par with the Behringer gang, some good, some not so good. Phonic started out as i understand as an italian family owned company, but i don't think it's the case today. I have a compressor/limiter, and a parametric EQ made by phonic, not bad units. They seem to be built a little better then the behringer products, a little heavier. Getting service done on some of this stuf when and if the need arises is another thing to take into consideration. I wouldn't be afraid to buy a phonic product. I had a behringer noise gate, it cost $99 new, it finally gave up the ghost, i just tossed it. So some of this stuff i call "Disposable Music Gear"

Thanks,

I wanted the 740 they had on Musicians friend, but it was discontinued. They now have a 740 plus system. I think I will give it a try. Reviews are very good.
Thanks
