Hello,

I am looking for an affordable (but not too crappy) Karaoke Player...are any of the players listed below acceptable?

FYI: I have a 1000 watt pa/mixer with speakers., a dvd/cd+g magnavox player, CRT monitor, and  all CD+G's at this point.  I would like to go digital / laptop...but my new Mac's optical drive doesn't do cd+g.  I really look forward to your input.
Thanks! - S.A.D.

of all of those, the only ones I'd recommend are the NEO ones, and those not very highly.

Personally speaking, you're better off getting a triple tray (JVC) from Ebay!!

Sound Choice sells a performer's choice brand, but I have no idea who the parent company is for the hardware!

Thanks for the reply,

My Mac's optical drive will not even read the graphic part of cd+g's.  By the time I upgrade the RAM, install a cd+g compatible drive and purchase some software I will have spent as much or more than I would on a Karaoke Player.  So I've pretty much decided not to do computer based karaoke.

Thanks

Thank you for the advice!

I'll look around for the players you mentioned.

If you use a Mac and can't get it to read CD+G, you may want to check out this program called Patch Burn.
