Hi.
Can anyone recommend software and/or equipment?
I have a home network with a MediaCenter PC and an XBox 360. I would like a karaoke system for my family to use. If a Karaoke-system exists for XBox, that's what I prefer. I don't have mic either.
There is something called Karaoke Revolution for XBox, but I don't know if it only runs on  the old XBox and not the 360. Has anyone tried that one?

As for getting a real HOME karaoke system, how much are you willing to spend?

Thanks!
On konami.com I found out that Karaoke Revolution does not run on XBox 360. So I can forget about that one.
The reason why I want a system for X360 or MCE is that I hate the extra boxes everywhere. Ideally I just want a mic to plug in and run a karaoke program. I'm not willing to spend a lot of money - max 300$.

You are not going to be able to get much for $300.
That being said check out the SUMO PRO system.....

Normaly I do NOT recomend someoing getting a vocopro system, but with a budget of $300, this is the only thing I can think of.  You will also need to purchase Karaoke (CD+G) discs for the music.

You can get a karaoke player from wal-mart or target for under 100 bucks.  Make sure it has audio out jacks and then you can hook it into a home stereo and your done.  I've even seen a system, I think at target, that let's you change the songs key.  Most even have a video out so you can show lyrics on you home TV.  There lots of fun for parties easy to use and fairly inexpensive.  That's how I got started a couple years ago and since then have added a nice portable PA system and a Mixer board.  Now everyone I know that has a party asks me to bring my karaoke system I've even booked now for a up coming wedding and I'm still using only using my memorex karaoke player to play the CD+Gs.

m1532.
That sounds like an acceptable solution to start with. We don't have Walmart in Norway, but we have Elkjøp (10 times smaller...) so I will check if they have something.
Or maybe you have a product name I can seach for on Internet?
