This is Chris Daughtry singing the national anthem at the Bears/Saints game yesterday.......He didn't pull it off perfectly, but you can tell he was really feeling it, imagine just being some average joe a year ago, and now your singing in front of millions of people....Notice the tear at the end........

Nathan it looked so cold out there...cant blame any instrument voice included for not being bang on tune. It was an emotive rendition and obviously warmly met

Under those conditions he did really well!  I'm also glad he didn't put in a lot of excessive "vocal gymnastics" -- just the right amount of melody adlib.

Wow !! Im a big AI fan & I just loved Chris, & his "story"( I watched a biography episode with him on it)  ...To see him perform that with the emotion that he did gave ME a tear....Very Kool indeed !! ...I also watched Carrie Underwods & Kelly Clarksons, they were great too  :)  Thanks Nathan !!
