HAPPY THANKSGIVING KS!
As many here know, our Thanksgiving plans have changed several times in the last few weeks. During the period when we were planning to be at my daughter's home in Oklahoma City there were a virtual flurry of planning phones calls going back and forth every day. After one such call I was inspired to write a short story about the happiest Thanksgiving both my daughter and I have ever known. If you'd like to read it to kick off the holiday season it can be found at the following link...

Center: Spring 2006, Anna (age 6) and her 2 older siblings Shanaha (age 10) and Tommy (age 8 ).
All other photos are of Anna between the ages of 14 months and 6 years. She looks much younger in most of of the photos because she gained weight so slowly. On the left where she fell asleep in her dinner she was 14 months old and weighed just under 11 lbs. In the shot at the beach where she's sitting on her mama's back she was about 2 1/2 and weighed 20 lbs. She made the magic weight of 25 lbs and was able to have her heart surgery just before her 3rd birthday. She is now 6 and weighs 60 lbs and is a normal (and sweet) little girl in every possible way.
