We have 2 people that I know of from this site who have entered. One is Jazzy Baggs and the other is Tx Songbird. There is a fairly recent thread by Jazzy baggs asking for us to listen and vote. She was in 2nd place the last time I looked.

KS's contest on bix.com goes until sometime in November....they will have another one after that one. I have entered it. I also voted for JazzyBaggs on her songs...I was sad that she didnt win...I didnt know TX Songbird was in it too....now I feel bad, that I didnt go vote for her too. I don't expect anyone to vote for me, I know I'm not that good, but I thought I would give myself a challenge just the same.(there's some tough competition on there) - Tonya

The inherent problem with most of these things from "American Idol" on down is they are NOT singing competitions, they are contests, much like any game show or reality TV show. They are certainly NEVER on the money as to who is the most "talented" or who "sings" the best because there is no such thing. People will always have their particular favorite sounds and styles...I myself would rather hear Louis Prima sing all night rather than Diana Krall!

In this case it look more like; 'how many friends you have' If I were to joint this kind of contest, I will first joint as many forums as possible and get to know as many people as possible. I make sure I have at least 10k people on my list before I joint. I don't even have to sing that good to win.
