Karaoke Forums

Hopefully we will be flying to San Francisco area on November 6th and staying in Santa Clara for a few days, then on to San Francisco until November 17th when we fly home.

I was born in the area and stationed there about 20 years ago but I don't know where to go anyway. Any suggestions would be nice if not just plain funny. This is a chance for someone to tell me where to go. That doesn't happen very often.

Any suggestions?

I too am going to California. I'm driving down Oct. 13th, coming home the 18th, down close to BFL.

I was SO hoping I could turn it into a karaoke thing, and haunt a few of our members along the way.... but this trip is gonna be all work and no play.  :(

Chuck, call me when you are in town. I am like 2 mins from Santa Clara. I can take you to my favorite place to sing and take you around. You are lucky that I am not working right now. It may change by November 17th but you never know.  As for where to go, Napa valley is good to go. Check out San Gregoria beach, less known so not as crowded as other. Monterey is good. Check out Lake Tahoe but it's 4 hours away. Redwoods. San Fran area, tons of places to go. I will PM you my cell phone number.

As with any unconfirmed trip that origiantes as a business trip, the plans have already changed a little.

I won't post any changes until I am pretty certain the I have the final info.

Now don't go thinking you can just change whenever you want.... ...I have to make preparations..I may have to bake a cake or something...Maybe cupcakes would be in order or Chocolate chip cookies (sorry Cookie, I hope I didn't offend with that statement), Chips and dips sound good too...Perhaps I should get something to eat...I'm typing about food in a travel thread....

Well, the plans have changed again. Gayle sayles that she thinks this is the last time they will change, I doubt it.

It looks like I might not be able to go to the Bay area. Since I was born near there I can guarantee I will go sometime just not on this trip.

Oh well, Chuck. I was looking forward to meeting someone from this forum. Maybe next time.  Let me know if you do come in to town, not only Chuck but anyone. I will definitely take care of you.

Gigi is still going to go. The dates are roughly the same. I don't know if she'll have time to see anyone there because that information is never know until the last second.
