I was thinking of getting the Delta 44, when i noticed it has 1/4 jacks out. I have a pmx2000(behringer power amp). My channel now that I have the CD & g player going in its channel 10 (no 1/4 in jacks). It has the audio jacks(red & white). It aslo has the phantom power on it. Im not sure what phantom power is for, but only channel 10 has it. If i get the Delta 44, and covert the 1/4 jack to audio jacks, will it kill the sound. I could go 1/4 in jack to 1/4 jack on channel 7-9, but there is no phantom power. I want o buy the better stuff, instead of the soundblaster mp3 + box. I eventually will load all songs in the computer.

Thanks for all the help!!!

your mixer is properly set up to accept the Delta 44. Use the stereo strip with 1/4" jacks.

Phantom power is only to be used whenever you connect a condensor microphone to the mixer. Condensor mics require voltage from the mixer to operate properly. You usually will not harm a regular dynamic mic with phantom power, but it is best not to use it except for condensor mics.

The red & white as you call them are referred to as, RCA plugs.
