People do not dance at karaoke here that is something that does not happen.
Man that's too bad. Last Sat we had a packed floor nearly every song. There were a few song choices that kind of killed the mood, but they quickly recovered.
We always thought one of the best selling points of karaoke is broad range of music to dance to. When you have ten to twenty good singers I actually like it better than a band.. All it takes is a nail it top performance from a singer or two and from then on nobody sounds bad and the energy from all the singers and non-singers makes for a good night. Some nights this ol body aint even tired LOL Till I start tearing down....
Variety is a definate. We went out last night and out of the four of us (me, Rich, Chuck and Gigi) in one round we sang disco, heavy metal, country and pop. You wanna know what the scary thing was...We were the only four singers for about 4 rounds...We ended up doing some kamikazee karaoke beofre it was all done...
FYI it was a brand new show for our favorite KJ (JT) last night so we went out to support him just in case there were not any other people singing...Others did eventually join in...It's gonna be a good show going forward.
