Get ready kids, it's about to begin. BP is shutting down some of the Alaskan oil field for a major pipeline repair. 400,000 barrels a day, gone. What do you think that'll do to the price of a loaf of bread? Oh my aching wallet.
The bad bartenders won't have to worry, that's money they don't have to spend on gasoline. They never made any.

As we are all aware, 8% of oil loss will drive the price up much more than 8%. I don't need to explain the laws of supply and demand. Let's just say that it will be very bad for people who live on a fixed income and are already unable to afford their electric bill. We have lost a lot of senior citizens already due to the heat we are all having. The northern states also have very cold winters. This won't go well at all.
Thanks for the heads-up BigDog.

The biggest supply comes by barges from far far away, and then by truck, and rail.............seems like Alaska to the west coast by truck or rail, with the price of oil as it is, would cost chump change in comparison......especially this time of the year(weather wise)

I'm glad I still have my horses.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't I state here last year that gas would hit 4-5 per gallon this year?

It's been running me $2/day each horse steady, year round......If I had huge lush pastures it would be only .50/day/horse.....I don't mind the cost of the beer.....I consider it a 'bonding agent'.

I'm glad I'm not BP oil. Looks like someone is in a little hot water and we are going to pay the price. Gotta love it. Replacing the pipieline will take a while.

I thought that was going to be a problem myself till I made a new friend last month....He just cut and stored 7000 bales of sweet bermuda....and he has 2500 round bales stored...So he sells it to me for 2 bucks a bale.

Yeah, it's hard enuff for them just to get permission to install a pipeline....At least they are being responsible and keeping an eye on it to prevent another disasterous spill....All n all BP has a pretty good track record.

KEITH KEITH KEITH KEITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah you're back - I couldn't believe my eyes :O
ooops sorry a little off topic LMAO
As soon as I heard about the pipe line problem I ran out and filled up my tank. The prices
aren't being effected as of yet. It is $3.19 a gallon here. I feel bad for my daughters. They can barely afford to get to work and back.

Very close to the price I paid yesterday here in central Ct. $3.17/gallon (regular unleaded)
I think it's time to consider a Moped. I busted the E-Scooter :(

I'm getting my bermuda for 2/bale, but it usually goes for 3.5/4 a bale round here ...and it's clean sweet costal bermuda....I'm waiting for his third cut cause it's by far the best....My horses love me for it, so each gets half bale/day, twice a day....It's the least i can do for them.
