Hi guys,
Thanks to a very good recommendation taken from this forum, I got familiar with Karaoke Builder Studio, a nice software for making customize CD+G songs. Although the functions for lyric sweeping in the demo version work very good (I am becoming addicted to this thing), I am not so enthusiastic with the graphic quality of the on-screen lyrics. When seeing in full-screen, the shape of the words (at least in its demo version) are not well-defined, making it difficult for the singer to distinguish.
Could anybody make a comment on that?
Thanks a lot

depends on the fonts you have installed on your computer.
I've made many karaoke versions using this program... you need to adjust the SIZE of your font VS the type of font. Go to the "Styles" tab on the middle part of the project screen, and play around with these. Don't use just the default stuff... play around with colors, the backgrounds, the shadow of the text, and the text color and highlighting colors.
I hate to say it, but check out the color schemes of the popular ones done by karaoke manufacturers... don't try to be a rebel so much and see what works and works cleanly!!

I would agree with the psoter abut fonts
Change the font to something like times new roman, courier new, or Arial and it will look better, although it looks alright to me.

I remember when I was re-doing my songbooks and someone suggested Verdana(or at least that's how I think you spell it) and it really shows up well. And I agree on looking at what the other disc companys are using for background colors, I believe that a dark blue or black may be your best bet, but as long as it's legible, why not try something different.

that font in that picture is called "scary", and for the song I just did that way with, it's very close to the Artist's custom font on their cd covers.
